Use your Curatively saves in Claude and Codex

Bring your own references into the conversation

Curatively offers a remote MCP server. After you connect and authorize access, a compatible AI tool can search your vault, retrieve a save and its image, or add a link or note.

You do not need to publish a save to use it through this connection. The connector works with your private vault after sign-in. Content retrieved by an AI tool is shared with that tool, so choose a tool you trust.

Connect Claude

Open Curatively’s connection settings and choose Add to Claude. Review the connector details, add it, then connect and sign in with your Curatively account. Approve access to the account you want to use.

The connection settings also contain setup commands for Claude Code. Tool availability may depend on the client and account you use.

Connect Codex or another MCP client

For Codex, copy the setup commands below into Terminal, complete sign-in in the browser, and start a new Codex task.

For another compatible client, add a remote MCP server at https://curatively.io/api/mcp and follow its authorization flow.

Know what access allows

The connector can search and read your saves, including saved images, add new links or notes, and edit a note you wrote. It cannot publish or delete your saves. New saves are private.

Phrase search depends on cataloguing and AI permission in Curatively. If a reference is missing, check whether it has finished cataloguing. You can start by asking the tool to show your latest saves.
