Your vault, in your AI tools

Search your private saves, look at the images, save links or notes, and hand your assistant the brief you’re working to — from Claude, Codex, Claude Code or any MCP app. They can’t publish or delete your saves.

Every tool, free. That is a rule, not a launch offer.

What your assistant can do

Finding a save by its tags, colours or description depends on the catalogue: Plus catalogues everything you save; a free account has a cataloguing allowance, shown in Account.

  • search_vaultSearches your saves in your own words and ranks what it finds.
  • get_itemOne save with everything on it, including the image itself.
  • get_itemsUp to ten saves in one call, with pictures for the first four.
  • find_relatedUp to six saves closest to one of yours, by look and by text.
  • list_recentYour latest saves, newest first.
  • list_itemsBrowses by format, source site, colour or date.
  • save_itemSaves a photo, link or note to your vault. Private, catalogued in the background.
  • update_noteReplaces the note you wrote on a save and hands back the old one.
  • get_inspiration_contextReads your active Direction and the references you chose.
  • set_directionSets or rewords your Direction, in your words.
  • set_direction_statusPauses, completes or resumes a Direction.
  • submit_inspiration_batchSends up to five suggestions for you to review in the app. Nothing lands in your vault until you save it.

What you attach

Tools are what the assistant decides to call. Resources are what you put into a message yourself.

In Claude Code, type @curatively:direction to attach your Direction to a message; in Claude Desktop, use the paperclip. Pictures stay behind an explicit get_item.

Try asking

Say it the way you would say it.

  • “Find the green chair I saved in June.”
  • “Save this link with a note: for the kitchen.”
  • “Attach my current direction and suggest three references that fit.”

Claude

Review the prefilled connector and add it. Then connect, sign in with your Curatively email and approve access.

Codex

On a computer with Codex installed, copy and paste these commands into Terminal. Sign in in the browser, then start a new Codex task.

Inspiration

Set a direction in the app — or ask your assistant to set one — then ask it to find inspiration for it. It reads your direction, researches with its own tools, and sends suggestions back here for you to review. Nothing is saved to your vault unless you save it.

Read my active Curatively Direction and selected references. Find up to five worthwhile articles, images or examples that could help, including useful ideas from other fields. Explain why each fits and submit them to Curatively for review. Use real sources; don’t save anything directly to my vault.

Your assistant needs web search to research; if it can’t browse, it will say so.

Connecting doesn’t start research on its own. You ask each time, or set up a recurring task in your assistant if it supports one.
